Continuing the Conversation: FDA and CDC Leaders Discuss the COVID-19 Pandemic, Vaccines, and Special Considerations for the Rare Disease Community

Join the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), along with The ALS Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Muscular Dystrophy Association to continue the conversation about vaccines during a special webinar featuring leaders from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

This webinar will address the:

  • Effectiveness of the vaccines for immunocompromised individuals;
  • Timeline for vaccine authorization for children under the age of 12;
  • Future needs for booster shots or vaccine passports, and more.

Questions from members of the rare community will be collected during the registration period and addressed in the discussion. For those unable to join on June 16, this webinar will be recorded and sent to all registrants for on-demand viewing.

This webinar is intended for patients, caregivers, advocates and the general public.
