Join a caregiver to two daughters diagnosed with epilepsy (including one with a rare epilepsy) and a clinician as they discuss the ins and outs of getting an accurate, timely, and causal diagnosis. This event will include what is involved in getting a diagnosis. It will also include why you should revisit your diagnosis again and again if you don’t know the specific underlying cause of your epilepsy. This event is for those brand new to epilepsy as well as those living with epilepsy for a long time. The event will feature guests Dr. Korwyn Williams, MD, PhD, Director of the Epilepsy Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and Yssa DeWoody, PhD, Co-founder and Director of Ring14 USA.
