Facebook Live “New Advances in Stopping SUDEP

Epilepsy affects each person and their family differently. One thing remains the same for everyone: wanting to understand the diagnosis, treatment, and risks. One important risk to be aware of is sudden unexpected death in epilepsy, known as SUDEP. Although causes of SUDEP are not known, ongoing research is leading to new advances and technologies that are working towards preventing and understanding SUDEP better.

Join us to learn more about these new advances and other technologies, such as seizure detection and seizure prediction devices designed to include intervention by a caregiver.
