You Have a Voice in Research; Steps to Understanding
Sharron Close, a Nurse Practitioner and Assistant Professor at Emory School of Medicine, will lead us in a conversation about how health concerns in rare syndromes can be addressed through research. This meeting will answer questions like: What does it mean to participate in patient-led research initiatives within your community? Why is this of value to you? How will your voice be included in the design and implementation of research? And what is consent? We hope you’ll join us as we explore these topics together.
