Webinars: Epilepsy Emergencies and Safety Precautions

Our partners at the Epilepsy Foundation are offering a LIVE Facebook Event on Epilepsy Emergencies and Safety Precautions on Thursday, September 16th, 2021 at 4:00 PM EST.

Epilepsy emergencies can happen any time. Planning can lower the impact of these emergencies. Emergencies can be caused by seizures as well as non-seizure concerns like aspiration, falling, and drowning. Patients with rare, severe, or treatment-resistant (refractory epilepsy) may be at higher risk for emergencies.
This Facebook Live, brought to you by Neurelis, UCB, Greenwich Biosciences, and Zogenix, will explore seizure and non-seizure emergencies and will discuss preventative measures and strategies for staying safe across different settings. Education on risks of death, status epilepticus and SUDEP will be covered as well.
This live, interactive event is free and open to the public. To join the event, visit our Facebook page on August 26 at 4 p.m. ET and click on the live stream at the top of our feed.
