Junior Believe Ambassador
What is a Junior Believe Ambassador?
A Junior Believe Ambassador is someone who believes in the abilities of all people and believes that small actions can make a BIG difference. A Junior Believe Ambassador wants to help the world see the special gifts that people with Dup15q have to offer!
Who can be a Junior Believe Ambassador?
A Junior Believe Ambassador is someone under 18 years old who knows someone with Dup15q very well. This can be a sibling, another family member or a friend.
A Junior Believe Ambassador is someone who is interested in doing one or more of the following:
– educate others about Dup15q
– share what it is like to have a family member or friend with Dup15q
– be part of a fundraiser for Dup15q
– get to know other Junior Believe Ambassadors by being a pen pal and/or staying in touch by phone (messaging or talking)
What does a Junior Believe Ambassador do?
As an ambassador, you will have the chance to share what it is like to be a sibling, family member or friend to someone with Dup15q. We want to know all about your experience, and we want to learn about the person you love who has Dup15q. We will have opportunities for you to get involved in raising awareness, share your ideas and get connected to other families.

Empowering Youth Advocates
Dup15q Alliance Invites our community youth to use social media for good. Do you have a family member or someone you love with Dup15q Syndrome and think that only adults can get involved? Think again!
Kids who grow up with family members or friends with special health or developmental needs are more patient, kind and supportive. Our youth is vibrant and capable of making a positive impact and creating awareness in our community. There is a long history of youth-led movements that brought about change! Our Junior Believe Ambassadors (ages 5-18) can teach compassion and understanding through their advocacy!
