In Loving Memory of Eric Hoffmann
1990 – 2016
Eric Christian Hoffmann, age 25, of Rome, GA, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 at his residence.
Eric was born in Huntsville, AL on September 24, 1990. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Christian Hoffmann, Dorothy Wright Hoffmann, Robert Frank Hilpp, and Luella Rosamond Hilpp, and an uncle, Scott Christian Hoffmann.
Eric graduated from Rome High School in 2012 from the special education program. He attended Network Day services and was a member at Trinity United Methodist Church. Eric touched many lives and never met a stranger. He loved country music, animals, swimming, bike riding, and giving hugs.
He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Linda Hoffmann of Rome, two sisters, Katie Hoffmann of Banner Elk, NC, Jennifer Hoffmann Tucker and her husband, Wil Tucker of Beavercreeek, OH; a nephew, Graham Robert Tucker; uncles Bryan Hoffmann of Spartanburg and Steve Hoffmann and his wife Sherry of Spartanburg.
The family received friends at Trinity United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 4-5 pm with a memorial service that followed at 5 pm officiated by Dr. David Campbell.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to DIGS, Inc and Network Day Services.
