Understanding the decision-making process around RNS, VNS, and DBS

  • Does your child have an RNS, VNS, or DBS device implanted to treat drug-resistant epilepsy?
  • Are you considering these devices for your child as a treatment after failing anti-epileptic medication?
  • Or has your child had unsuccessful epilepsy surgery, and now you’re considering a device?

Please consider participating in a confidential survey by Neuroethics Canada at the University of British Columbia (UBC) along with researchers across Canada and the USA. Your participation will  help researchers understand parent and caregiver decision-making around neurotechnologies such as vagus nerve stimulationdeep brain stimulation, and responsive neurostimulation (NeuroPace® RNS System).
